Arts Taekwondo
You want something to do this summer? Something like martial arts, taekwondo ...?
I live in the Philippines (Cebu City) My friend and I want to take a certain type of taekwondo / martial arts class this summer. I was wondering if any of u know where I can take lessons. BTW I live in Cebu I am 13 years .... Thank you! = D
Hello, In Taekwondo summer is a good idea, especially if you're just in school secondary (since you're 13). During the summer, you will not have to worry about academics and you get to train at a more convenient schedule for you (as you do not have to give priority school). Is this the Milo Clinic was very active program in Cebu? If so, I suggest you monitoring programs affiliated with Milo Clinic summer. This way, you are assured that the instruction you receive comes from black belts official of the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA). However, if the clinic does not offer summer programs there are, I think some schools (Academics) will always be open for students summer sports. You can check them. Make sure they are affiliated with PTA. In addition, try to compare prices between local instructors. I do not know if there is a fee standard. And if it helps, ATP is also affiliated to the Federation World Taekwondo [WTF], based in Seoul, South Korea. If you see affliation, I guess it's both. Another international body Taekwondo, the International Taekwondo Federation, based in North Korea, I believe, also operates in the Philippines. However, the flag-bearer Taekwondo international events (like the Olympic Games and SEA Games) WTF is so I would propose on the ITF.
