well anyway, as a soccer referee and an avid sports fan i can say...yes you can wear soccer cleats to play softball......but note you cant wear softball cleats to play soccer.....ill tell you why.
softball cleats have a big spike in the front of the cleat, so you can push off and get more acceleration....soccer cleats do not have that spike in front, for the fact that it could injure another player (you know, kids just kick wildly lol)
people wear soccer cleats for alot of things, but for the best result in your softball game, stick to softball shoes....you will get better acceleration, and better support for your ankle, as soccer cleats are low on the ankle and made to contour the foot so its easier to kick a ball.
if its an emergency and thats all you have, then by all means wear soccer cleats
