Campus Vin
I got a ticket today.?
I was on my college campus and got a ticket for "backing in or pulling through space." I assume because they want the backs of all the cars so they can check out parking permits. However, I never registered my car with the school, and have never received a ticket for parking there. Because of that the school has no idea who they gave the ticket to, all they know is the VIN and plate. Does the campus police have the authority to send that ticket through courts/DMV etc. Basically, if I don't pay it is there anything they can really do since they don't know whose car it is.
They do know whose car it is. The campus police have access to the same computer database as the local or state police.
