What does R&P think of these guitarists?

i just want to discuss a few guitarists here...guitarists who are not mentioned much (relatively) in R&P...guitarists who are taken for granted (for the good and the bad) for whatever reason...a chance for u to say what u think of them...

so..what do u think of these guys?..any favourites among these?

Marty Friedman (ex-megadeth, ex-cacophony)
Buckethead (solo)
John Petrucci (dream theater, liquid tension exp., solo)
Carlos Santana (solo)
Joe Satriani (solo, ex- Deep Purple)
Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mr. Big, solo)

just randomly selected a few unpopular ones (in R&P)...dont wanto give too many for u to describe...

p.s. if u dont know any guitarist above, dont talk crap or praise him..
And if u feel like...put a link along each that u describe
satch had a brief stint with DP around 94

Marty Friedman is a master at 16th note arpeggio runs he is a killer alternate picker with the most Bizarre picking hand formation I have ever seen in my life. Very tasteful player nice vibrato killer player in my Top 10 Faves

Buckethead I could never get into because he messes and twitles around with too many effects and Noise in my opinion and I can never sit through his Bizarre effects tangents long enough to get a full glimpse of his Composition he attempts to do cool bizarre things like Steve Vai and it comes out extremely annoying rather than cool. However, he’s got technique and skill killer 2 had tapping skills but he rips off licks From Paul Gilbert and don’t try to get that past someone that ALSO RIPPS OFF PAUL GILBERT LOL!! ME!!!! LOL. I do also take many picking patterns from Sir Gilbert.

John Petrucci killer player a lot of Soul and Feeling as well as Technique and I admire him Immensely for paying respects and acknowledging his influence from Sir David Gilmour by using song structures of Floyd and using the Reprise structure in DT songs. He is hands down in my Top 10 favorites.

Carlos killer player a lot of feeling much respect to him

Joe Satch - same thing Much Feeling Killer technique in hammer on and pull off structures killer player a lot of emotion Cool Guy good human

Paul Gilbert - one of my Top 2 favorites don’t need to say much about him I am sure you have read how I feel about Gilbert I am sure I have told you on a couple other of your questions he is the most Technically skilled player I have ever heard and seen he is phenomenal. However I am not a big fan of his recent composition it’s just not for me but I do listen sometimes just to hear his killer playing
