Help with tennis in college?

I'll be a senior in high school this year and I try to play tennis in college. I am a 4.5 player on my way to be 5.0. I am aware I have no chance of becoming a Div. I athlete, but really want to play either Div. III or Div. II tennis. Couple of questions. Am I good enough to play Div. II or even Div. III? wats also the best way to contact coaches im interested in college? I am aware of them little hope for a scholarship. I'm just lost and do not know what level I can play?

I would not count on a scholarship at a school entirely D2. You can not get one from a college D2 but there may be others who would be happy to have you. And you should definitely be good to play D3. As for communicating with coaches, there are some things you can do. Start by sending them an e-mail and let them know that you may be interested in playing on their team. D2 with schools, especially if she can give you a scholarship, the coach will probably want to see you play at some point. Some you will visit the campus and hit with the team. Others will come and watch you play any of your matches school. Schools in D3, you can usually talk schedule the coach during a campus visit regularly. Just let them know what day you come and see if they have a moment where they can meet with you. Another good idea is to try to visit the campus one day, the team has a home game. Or if they are away, see if they have away games against schools that are closest to you. This way you can see the competition for yourself, and judge at what level you can be. I went to a school D3. They were very relaxed with their approach. When I visited campus, I spoke to Coach I've mentioned above. He said that in the fall, the team hit occasional sessions once or twice a week. They are open to anyone who wants to show up, and has an interest in joining the team. Generally, players who are not entirely done on the scale needed to play on the team and realize just stop here. So yes, there was not "official" recruitment or signature or anything going.
