Nah, Portugal and Ivory Coast were in bad shape. Portugal worked against China recently, and only narrowly defeated an average Bosnian side to qualify for the WC. Ivory Coast are not particularly impressive in the recent African Cup of Nations, I do not see how they so easily dismiss Brazil. Portugal might have something against them, with the talent they have to attack but the real strength of the Brazilian side is in his defensive work collectively. Yes, they still have a huge number of attack talent (Robinho is a different player to play for Brazil), Kaka and is still a top player, in addition to Luis Fabiano and Nilmar. I must admit I was a little surprised at the inclusion of Grafite on Pato, who would certainly have found fitness when the tournament begins. In addition, the exclusion of Ronaldinho for Elano and Julio Baptista has been a little perplexed. Brazil will qualify with ease IMO.
