Can you wear your own boots on all arms commando course?
Iam on the course later this year, just wondering if you can wear your own boots! I have a pair of adidas GSG 9.2 boots tactical assault challenge it comfortable and they make my life easier when yomping around Dartmoor ..
If you go as a technician you get issued with kit and that is what you use. As simple as that. Joint dress is a crime punishable. 252 are not uncommon. You do not need one of your own to implement with.That a charge ratio by the way. The paratroopers who did not like DMS swopped for other boots in the Falklands, but has been on active duty and with the agreement of leaders, not on a training courses. Tactical assault boots? Whatever name they dream next to sell things? Are they going for distance tactics? Corner street fighting tactics? Tactical rock-hopping? It yomping not ..... DMS has done for me 30-Miler in Nijmegen and a lot of long walks on Dartmoor and beyond years. On a bad day on Dartmoor you just see your own boots. Take some tactical sunglasses. The sun is not wide enough for strategic stuff. Have fun.
